How to Get the Most Out of Your Products: An Easy & Effective Routine
Just received your order and not quite sure how to incorporate the products into your routine?
First of all, welcome to Two Poles—the world of simple yet super-effective routines!
And secondly, we know that adding a bunch of new products (or even thinking about overhauling your entire routine) can feel a little overwhelming at times. That’s why we’ve put together this quick guide to help you out. Depending on your skin concerns or what you’d like to address, we’ll figure out what works best for you.
Are you tired of your pores?
First things first—let’s clear something up: as we like to say, “pores aren’t doors—they don’t open or close.” They’re not muscles that expand and contract, so the best we can do, friend, is minimize their appearance and keep them looking visibly smaller by keeping them super clean. This also helps prevent those dreaded blackheads, which are just trapped dirt inside pores.
So if pores are a concern for you, salicylic acid is a must in your routine. Salicylic acid penetrates deep into pores, breaking down oil and buildup to leave them thoroughly clean. And when paired with other gentle exfoliating acids it’s even more effective.
The Porefect Exfoliant will help improve skin texture, leaving it smooth and more radiant. We recommend using it once a day (in your morning or evening routine—whichever you prefer) or just 3–4 times a week if your skin is more sensitive.
At night, focus your routine on refining pores with a proper double cleanse.
Step 1: Make-up Melting Cleansing Oil. This oil penetrates deep into pores, removing all the buildup of oil and pollution from the day.
But don’t worry—this cleanser is used on dry skin! Just massage it in thoroughly and rinse with water. When you wash it off, it leaves zero greasy residue—none at all. It’s ideal for all skin types, but if you have oily or acne-prone skin, you’ll love it.
Step 2: Cleansing Cream. Use the Cleansing Cream to deeply purify your skin. It works like a water-activated cleansing gel.
Dark Spot + Melasma + Acne Scar Treatment
Whether you already have some spots or want to prevent them from appearing, there are two key things to keep in mind: First, use sunscreen daily, and second, incorporate brightening treatments into your routine (and be consistent with them).
What’s the best brightening routine?
Without a doubt, we recommend antioxidants in the morning and brightening treatments at night. This way, you prevent and treat dark spots at the same time.
In the morning, Morning Glow is an antioxidant and brightening serum that, thanks to vitamin C (among other ingredients), protects the skin from solar radiation and helps even out skin tone.

For the nighttime routine, we choose Brightening Sérum, as it includes three of the most powerful and scientifically proven brightening agents on the market: azelaic acid, tranexamic acid, and arbutin—which work to treat dark spots at every level. That is, they prevent melanin formation and transfer, while also unifying and brightening the face.
Dull skin lacking radiance?
The solution is as simple as exfoliating regularly—this way you'll achieve skin with less texture, smoother and plumper—and using brightening treatments that help even out skin tone.
In a routine, this translates to: alternating in the mornings between The Porefect Exfoliant (gentle exfoliation) and Morning Glow (a vitamin C serum that provides instant radiance), using one each day.
At night, a brightening and depigmenting serum like Brightening Sérum will help you achieve that look of juicy, calm, and glowy skin.
Fine Lines and/or Loss of Firmness
If your concerns are early signs of aging or you already have a few fine lines you’d like to address, you should incorporate antioxidant-rich ingredients and those that help stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis into your routine. Without a doubt, this is the best way to treat and prevent premature aging signs like fine lines or sagging.
Antioxidants in Your Morning Routine. Morning Glow contains vitamin C, niacinamide, and anti-aging peptides—an ideal combo to protect against sun damage while boosting collagen and elastin production in the skin.
Alternate Night Transformers: Brightening / Night Sérum. Incorporating retinol into your nighttime routine is the best thing you can do in this case—it’s the most scientifically backed ingredient with proven results for improving signs of aging. Just remember: introduce it slowly and follow a proper retinization process!
Want to Say Goodbye to Breakouts?
If your skin is acne-prone, this might seem surprising—but don’t skip hydration! Often, lack of moisture in combination or oily skin (or skin with breakouts) can make things worse. So before diving into the products that’ll help you forget about pesky blemishes, keep this in mind.
Now, for your morning routine, an exfoliating toner like The Porefect Exfoliant works wonders to keep pores clear, prevent breakouts, and even help fade acne marks.
At night, a serum with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties—like Brightening Serum—will be your go-to for preventing and healing breakouts in record time.
Dark circles and/or puffiness? Crow’s feet…?
Dark circles (purplish or brown), puffiness, fine lines…—so many things about the eye area can worry us! But hey, we’ve got the perfect duo to treat it and give your skin the most complete care in just two steps.
In your morning routine, the focus is on awakening and brightening your gaze while depuffing—and for that, The Eyeconic Cream is everything!
At night, we shift to a more transformative treatment, targeting fine lines and pigmentation—like Smart Eye Cream, with retinol as its star ingredient (just remember to follow a retinization process before using it nightly).
By concern, it’s probably way easier now to figure out how to organize your skincare routine, right? And remember—if you have any questions at all, just reach out. We’d love to help!
Hugs,
See you over at @twopolescosmetics & @partners.incream
